Latest Updates from Our Project:

Another Stretch Goal Unlocked!
over 6 years ago – Wed, Dec 06, 2017 at 03:42:11 PM

Good news today; we just rolled over 18k, which unlocks Sheriff Blazer!

This puts us a short distance away from Benny the Bandito!

...all of this and there are still two weeks left in the campaign. Well done all around, folks.

I'll be working on putting together more items to include in the add-ons--that will help us climb the ladder of stretch goals as it only takes a small add on from this many backers to make the total shoot up.

What comes after Benny? Well, we already have the Drifter and we're moving toward unlocking Benny, so I'm thinking of a certain dark character with a cross-draw holster; the pity is when he's paid, he always follows his job through . . .

Too cryptic or have you already figured it out?

Adios,

New Stretch Goal Posted, Plus a Reminder
over 6 years ago – Tue, Dec 05, 2017 at 08:52:54 PM

Still rolling along. I've been busy working with suppliers to get ready for the end of the campaign in 22 days--we're going to need a lot of stuff!

RETAILERS

I have a special deal set up for you. I'm trying to figure out where to enter it into the system. Message me with your e-mail address and I'll send you the official package. It includes a demo kit with organized play kit, and a mix of rules, stretch goals, faction packs, individual figures, dice, character cards, and stretch goals.

STRETCH GOALS:

Just a reminder that if you're at the $35 level, you can still buy the stretch goal items as add-ons. Later in the campaign I'll post amounts in the Add-On section for those we unlock.

The stretch goal items are not exclusives, they are unreleased items that all campaign backers get first crack at, and backers at the $135 level and above receive for free.

Speaking of stretch goals, I've got a new render. He's just a pawn in the game of Gunfighter's Ball!

Got the audio and visuals done for the game video. Now I have to put it all together--looking at a day or two to get that accomplished.

Adios!

Pistoleer Deck Unlocked!
over 6 years ago – Tue, Dec 05, 2017 at 08:52:25 PM

I'll add this to the add-ons for those of you at the Rules Lawyer level and below.

Speaking of card decks, I've been getting prices from suppliers on getting character cards in the Tarot size with a lamination that eliminates the need for sheet protectors (for dry-erase notes). This would be a major advance in the game supplies and would not cause any change in the pricing.

I've also located a wholesale supplier for clay composite poker chips. More on that soon.

Thanks for your help keeping the ball rolling! Now on to Mangus!

Forrest

CHARACTER CARD UPDATE
over 6 years ago – Tue, Dec 05, 2017 at 08:51:48 PM

Very good news, folks.

We've got the pricing we need to be able to do the Character Cards as tarot-sized and laminated. This means there is lots of elbow room to mark off your ammo and take notes (Tarot size is 2.75 x 4.75 inches), and the coating means that you can use dry-erase with no additional hassle--no card protectors, etc. Both sides will be laminated so that you can use the back side to take notes if you want.

This is not an additional cost or stretch goal--this is straight up specs on the character cards in the accessory pack by default.

The Pistoleer deck will be poker-sized cards. They are 305gsm black-core matt card stock, the same stock that Magic cards are made from. It has a nice stiffness and is easily shuffled.

I've very happy with the way things are coming together. I'm actually looking forward to USING these items in our own games!

Greenhorn Edition Update
over 6 years ago – Tue, Dec 05, 2017 at 08:51:42 PM

PDF Update
PDF Update

I just posted an update to the Greenhorn Edition. This document is an FAQ, Errata, and Rules Update. We've had over a month to field questions and comments, and this is the result.

It's all minor stuff, so all we're doing right now is including this brief PDF in the Greenhorn download; eventually there will be a revised Greenhorn Edition document.

If you only need the update PDF, it is here.
